Share your favourite snap for your chance to win $2k

Ready to share your favourite travel moment?

Hey, fellow traveller! Got an epic holiday snap with your travel buddy? Share it and the story behind it, and you could win $2,000. (That’s $1k for you, and $1k for your travel buddy!)

We’ve got two lots of $2k to give away – so that’s double the chance of taking home some cold hard cash.

Oh, and don’t forget to tell us your travel buddy’s name and contact details. You’ll have to get their permission before you give us their details.

Want in? Here's what to do:

  • Share your snap: upload a Take Us Back travel pic of you and your best (travel) bud.
  • Tell us your tale: share the story behind this epic moment in 250 characters or less.
  • Provide your details: tell us your contact details, and your travel buddy’s details too. We’ll get in touch if you've won

Keen to give our ‘Take us back’ competition your best shot? Click here for some tips.
General guidelines
  • Original content submit an original photo. That means you have to have taken the pic. Plagiarised content will be disqualified – don’t say we didn’t tell you!
  • Theme: make sure your photo fits in with the ‘Take us back’ travel photo theme.
  • Quality: submit high-resolution photos. Blurry or pixelated photos may not make the cut.
  • Format: submit your photos in JPEG or PNG format.
  • No watermarks: please don’t add any watermarks or text overlays to your photo. We want to see your epic travel moment without distractions.
Content guidelines
  • Appropriate content: your photo must be suitable for a general audience. That means no explicit, offensive, or inappropriate content.
  • Subject matter: your photo should be clear and relevant to the competition’s theme.
  • Avoid copyrighted elements: don’t include any copyrighted logos, brands, or images in your photos, unless you have permission.
  • Privacy: make sure anyone in your photo is OK with you sharing their image publicly. Make sure they were over the age of 18 years old when the photo was taken.
Technical guidelines
  • Lighting: aim for well-lit photos with balanced exposure. Natural light tends to work best.
  • Composition: the rule of thirds, leading lines, and other composition techniques create visually engaging photos.
  • Editing: light editing to enhance clarity, brightness, and contrast is OK. Overly manipulated images are not – they may be disqualified.
Thank you and good luck!
